Range to Reef is based in Caloundra, so this is home turf. Jacob comes to your driveway, your work car park or the storage yard, anywhere from Pelican Waters and Golden Beach up to Currimundi, and out to Baringa, Aura and Little Mountain.

General clean: hatches $150, sedans $180, large SUVs, 4WDs and utes from $250. Around two to three hours.
Full detail: small cars $300 to $380, sedans $350 to $480, large SUVs, 4WDs and utes $450 to $650. Four to eight hours.
Polishing: from $300, around four to six hours.

Heavy mud, heavily soiled carpets and pet hair are charged on top, and Jacob gives you that number before he starts, not after.

Salt, sand and sun

Cars parked near the beach at Kings Beach, Moffat or Dicky Beach pick up a film of salt quickly, and sand finds its way into every seat rail and carpet. A regular general clean keeps on top of both. Paint that has gone dull in the sun is what polishing is for.

Before you book

Do you come to me?

Yes. Range to Reef is fully mobile. Jacob details the vehicle where it is parked, at your home, your work or the storage yard. There is no drop off and no waiting room.

What do you need on site?

A garden tap and a power point. Jacob brings the gear, the products and the know how. If the vehicle is parked somewhere without water or power, say so when you book and he will work out what is possible.

What areas do you cover?

The Sunshine Coast and surrounds. Down the coast: Caloundra, Baringa, Pelican Waters, Kawana, Mooloolaba, Maroochydore, Buderim, Sippy Downs, Coolum, Peregian Beach and Noosa. Up the range: Glass House Mountains, Beerwah, Landsborough, Maleny, Montville, Palmwoods, Nambour, Eumundi, Cooroy and as far north as Gympie. If you are just outside that, ask anyway.

When can Jacob come out?

Seven days a week, between 6am and 6pm. Pick a time that suits you when you book.

How much does a detail cost?

Car detailing is priced by the size of the vehicle. A general clean is $150 for a hatch, $180 for a sedan and from $250 for a large SUV, 4WD or ute. A full detail runs from $300 to $650 depending on size. Caravan exteriors start at $300.

How long does it take?

A general clean is around two to three hours. A full detail is four to eight hours depending on the size of the vehicle and the state it is in. Caravans and polishing are quoted on the day.

What happens if the car is really dirty?

Do you detail caravans?

Yes. A caravan exterior detail covers the roof, walls and the A frame. Interiors, deep cleans after a big lap and polishing are quoted once Jacob has seen the van. Motorhomes include the engine bay.

Do you do ceramic coatings?

Not yet. They are coming, so ask Jacob where it is up to if you want the paint sealed for the long haul.
